Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time of the year again; time to unveil my top albums!. This was a fantastic year for music, hence my expanding this list from 20 to 25. Even with that expansion, there were still some very fine albums that did not make the cut. Such honorable mentions as Headlights [...] If you have yet to witness the wonderfulness of She & Him’s video for “Why Don’t You Let Me Stay Here” off their amazing debut Volume 1, behold: And in case you’re wondering, Zooey is wearing that wedding dress for me. Last night on Conan, one of my all-time favorite bands, Yo La Tengo, served as the backing band for She & Him, probably one of my most listened to albums of 2008, to create the ultimate viewing experience.
