Passion Pit’s debut full length Manners is for sale today only for $2.99 as part of AmazonMP3’s “Deal of the Day.” Whatever you are doing, stop, and head over to cash in on this deal. Manners is easily one of the best releases of 2009 and will be on just about every “best of” list [...] Passion Pit have premiered the video for their new single “The Reeling.” It’s full of happy dancing hipsters, tons of rip & tear effects and it kicks a lot of ass. “The Reeling” is the first single off of Passion Pit’s debut full length album Manners and relases on 5/19 (Frenchkiss) Passion Pit have been forced to cancel their May UK tour dates due to “personal issues at home” which has them unable to travel outside of the US for the time being. According to a representative of the band, they fully intend to make up the dates at a later time. Passion Pit, the band with the best EP of 2008 (Chunk of Change), has debuted their new single “The Reeling” on their MySpace page. This was a fantastic year for music, hence my expanding this list from 20 to 25. Even with that expansion, there were still some very fine albums that did not make the cut. Such honorable mentions as Headlights [...] Urban Outfitters is giving away a totally kick-ass 21-song compilation on their website. Some of the standout artists include Passion Pit, Chairlift, Takka Takka, Peter, Bjorn and John and Of Montreal. The Chunk of Change EP by Passion Pit is officially released today. I’ve been listening to this non-stop for a couple of months now and think Sleepyhead is one of the best, most addicting songs of 2008. |
