I know it’s last minute, but if you’re going to be in the NYC area tonight and want to check out Glasvegas, they will be performing at the Virgin Megastore in Union Square at 9pm. document.getElementById(“post-760-blankimage”).onload(); Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time of the year again; time to unveil my top albums!. This was a fantastic year for music, hence my expanding this list from 20 to 25. Even with that expansion, there were still some very fine albums that did not make the cut. Such honorable mentions as Headlights [...] Glasvegas have released the video for “Please Come Back Home” which is on their forthcoming Christmas EP (which is unfortuantly UK only right now, but I’m hearing it may be released in the US somehow as well.) Glasvegas will embark on a mini-tour in January in support of the January 6th physical release of their debut full length record in he US. Glasvegas have the featured free iTunes Single of the Week with their track Geraldine. You can download the song here. I’ve been loving the Glasvegas record for the past few weeks. Lately everything I hear from Scotland these days kicks some major ass. Between Frightened Rabbit, The Twilight Sad and now Glasvegas, Scotland has been representing the indie scene hardcore! |
