Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time of the year again; time to unveil my top albums!. This was a fantastic year for music, hence my expanding this list from 20 to 25. Even with that expansion, there were still some very fine albums that did not make the cut. Such honorable mentions as Headlights [...] Yesterday I blogged about Coldplay’s new EP Prospekt’s March. Well, it turns out that it is today’s AmazonMP3 deal of the day, so you can download all eight songs for a mere 99¢. The deal is only good today so hurry on over here to buy a copy. Also dropping today is Coldplay’s new eight-song EP titled Prospekt’s March. Prospekt’s March is a collection of tracks that didn’t make it onto Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends during its initial release. (Viva la Vida… has since been re-released to contain these new tracks on a “deluxe version.”) As a thank you for all fans that have purchased tickets and supported the band, Coldplay is offering a free download of a new B-side called “Death Will Never Conquer.” Head on over here to claim a copy of the song before it’s gone. In early December, Coldplay taped an appearance on Austin City Limits for PBS. Chris Martin has always been a supporter of getting the music out to the people and gladly performed the show.
