Ben Lee - “Love Me Like the World Is Ending”

Ben LeeOne of my favorites, Ben Lee, is streaming a fantastic new song called “Love Me Like the World Is Ending” on his official MySpace page. Check it out here.

Ben’s new album, Ripe, is scheduled to be released on September 18th.

Awake Is the New Sleep was one of the best records of 2005 and I am seriously jonesin’ for a new Ben Lee fix.

First Zeitgeist Review?

Saturday, April 14th, 2007

Billy Corgan - The Smashing PumpkinsIt appears that Ben Lee has the first unofficial Zeitgeist review…

Went to the Smashing Pumpkins album-wrap party and heard their awesome newie. Seriously, the heaviest and most intense thing they have ever done. Really exceptional. Sounds like the world needs a record like that right now.

What better way to celebrate my most anticipated album since 2000? I think a “Live Earth” apearance in my back yard sounds about right!

Top 10 Albums of 2005

Sunday, December 11th, 2005

2005 was an odd year for music, as many people have complained that making their “best-of list” has been quite tough. I will say that it was pretty easy for me to make my Top 10 list, but unlike last year, there wasn’t a huge surplus of records left off.

I have included a link to the albums on Amazon should you decide to purchase them. I’ve also included some standout tracks should you want to go to iTunes (or your favorite file-sharing service) and get yourself acquainted with these fine, fine albums.

Without further ado, I present the Fuzzy Lion Top 10 Albums of 2005:

As an honorable mention, I’d like to highly recommend Shout Out Louds - “Howl Howl Gaff Gaff.” The import version was one of my favorite records of 2004, but it was released in the US this year with a llot of different tracks. If you can get your hands on both versions, definitely do it, as they’re both equal amazing.
