One of my favorite bands, Counting Crows, are in the midst of one of the summer’s most exciting tours: The Saturday Night Rebel Rockers Traveling Circus & Medicine Show. The Traveling Circus features Michael Franti & Spearhead, and Augustana along with Counting Crows in a very unique setup. Rather than each band playing their [...] Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time of the year again; time to unveil my top albums!. This was a fantastic year for music, hence my expanding this list from 20 to 25. Even with that expansion, there were still some very fine albums that did not make the cut. Such honorable mentions as [...] Augustana is one of those bands I thought I would hate before I listened to them. On the surface, they appear to be another generic “alternative” band signed to a Major Label (Epic), but to my surprise, their debut album is really, really good.
