Regina Spektor at Tower Records

Wednesday, June 7th, 2006

From Regina’s MySpace Bulletin:

Come down to
Tower Records (4th & Broadway) beginning at 9am on Tuesday, June
13th and be one of the first to buy Regina’s new album and get a
wristband for this exclusive performance and signing.

I’ve been praising this album for months now. Even if you don’t like Regina’s earlier work, give this record a chance. It’s much more “accessible” than her previous stuff and continues to be one of my favorite albums of the year.

Live Eh!

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005

Our neighbors up north have decided to get in on the Live 8 action by holding a concert of their own. Some of those scheduled to perform are Barenaked Ladies, Bryan Adams, Deep Purple, Motley Crue, Our Lady Peace, Simple Plan, Tegan & Sara, The Tragically Hip and Tom Cochrane.

Free health care, mounted police and now a better show then us?! What’s going on here?
