Fuzzy Lion

The Hold Steady’s Boys and Girls in America has been available since October ‘06, but I’ve just recently gotten into this record and am abosolutely loving it.

Those not familiar with NYC’s The Hold Steady may (or many not) recognize frontman Craig Finn from his earlier band Lifter Puller. The Hold Steady’s debut release, Almost Killed Me, was released in 2004 on Frenchkiss Records, followed by Separation Sunday in 2005. Boys and Girls in America is the band’s most recent effort and is out on Vagrant.
