Fuzzy Lion

Back in 1998, before commercial radio was completely irrelevant, Depeche Mode played the KROQ Acoustic Christmas show at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Also on the bill that year was Billy Corgan, who took the stage with Depeche Mode to close out their set with “Never Let Me Down Again,” a song which Billy had covered with The Smashing Pumpkins a few years earlier.

To celebrate the recently released Depeche Mode album Playing the Angel, and it being the holiday season and all, it is the perfect time to share this wonderful show with those who have yet to hear it.
