Sometimes I Think Life Is Just a Rodeo
One of my favorite songs of all time has to be John Fogerty’s “Rock and Roll Girls” found on the 1985 album Centerfield. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of being a little tyke riding in the car with my Dad. My parents love of Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty has since been genetically passed on to me.
John Fogerty recently released a career retrospective album but sadly didn’t include “Rock and Roll Girls” on it. If you don’t have any CCR or Fogerty material, head on over to Amazon

“Sometimes life is….” has stuck with for all of these years since “Rock and Roll GIrls” was first released.
I have been using it as a mantra for years now as we raise a special needs child - “Sometime I think life is just a rollercoaster” (L. Bond 2007)
Bipolar in a child is no picnic - but thinking of life as a rodeo gets me thru some really rough times.
