In the Summer of 1988, a tape was sent by Eddie Vedder to the guy who
lived downstairs from him in San Diego when he moved to Seattle.
Supposedly, several Pearl Jam fans pooled their money and purchased the
tape from Eddie’s neighbor/friend.
